I invite you to post other news on our blog that may be of interest to building product manufacturers.<br /><br />To substantiate my point:<br /><br />1. www.reedconstructiondata.com/smartbuildingindex/ does not mention the Spec-Data program.<br />2. After fifteen minutes of looking in search engines, I could not find any information concerning advertising in Spec-Data.<br />3. I just came from the CSI show at Construct 2009, and did not see Spec-Data there being promoted to specifiers.<br />4. It has been years since anyone ever called me to invite me to put my clients into Spec-Data.<br /><br />I love the Spec-Data format and was a strong proponent of it. But the system has clearly not been supported by its publisher in recent years. For example, Spec-Data could have expanded to include a heading for environmental data. Instead, GreenFormat has arisen to fill the void.<br /><br />I invite you or anyone at Reed to call me to discuss how the nearly moribund Spec-Data program can still be revised.
